MEC determina que Escolas da Rede Pública de Ensino se ajustem a seus calendário de aula durante o período da Copa do Mundo de 2014, especialmente nos locais que vão sediar os jogos, A decisão foi publicada nesta terça 19, no Diário Oficial da União (DOU). O MEC acatou o parecer da Câmara de Educação Básica do Conselho Nacional de Educação que entende que a Lei Geral da Copa (12.663/2012) não pode se sobrepor à Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional (9.394/1996). A Lei Geral da Copa estabelece que os sistemas de ensino ajustem os calendários escolares de forma que as férias escolares da rede pública e privada abranjam todo o período da Copa, de 12 de junho a 13 de julho do próximo ano. De acordo com a professora Amábile Pacios e presidenta da Federação Nacional das Escolas Particulares (FENEP), o recesso poderia prejudicar o processo pedagógico desenvolvido pelas escolas. Nesta segunda dia 18, as aulas da rede pública de fortaleza começaram mostrando evasão de 36 mil alunos da escola pública para de particular, o Prefeito Roberto Claudio, eleito no mesmo ano, disse que não entende a evasão dos alunos, mas certamente compreende os fatos que descontentam os pais, causando a evasão. Opinião: O compromisso do Governo Brasileiro já esta assinado, as mudanças são claras, dar férias antecipadas, gastar dinheiro público em estádios, aumentar os aeroportos, levantar Voluntários para servir nos bastidores da Copa. Esse espetáculo vai sair caro para o bolso e estudo de tantos Brasileiros. Eu particularmente continuo sem entender em que os mais pobres serão beneficiados nesse espetáculo.
